前不久從大陸參訪交流歸來，在廣州發現有一本「市民雜誌」，是一本鼓吹公民社會的雜誌，廣西師範大學出版的，也有網路版本。讀來頗有意思，但不知是否也只在知識份子圈流傳。我記得台灣解嚴後的許多年內，至少到1998年此種氛圍也都明顯還在，整個民間社會也曾經蓬勃躍躍欲試，真的感到自己可以參與些什麼，以及改善些什麼。這趟大陸重點城市的NPO參訪交流之行，讓我震動的是，我在一個對NPO仍重重設防的環境裡，從不同省分來的草根組織（在中共的標準裡大多都是妾身未明的組織）的推動者身上，深深感受到一股無可遏抑的發展動力。反觀自己呢？憑著過往十多年來在NPO領域的漫遊，在檯面上的分享，算是顧全了面子，應該沒讓人看出太多端倪，但私底下呢？卻心虛得厲害。年初才身心俱疲地從一個自己投入了八年的領域淡出，打算花一年的時間身心靈大整頓，理出這一路在NPO的頭緒。早知道熱情不能，也不該作為投身NPO長久發展的唯一因素；但是，失了熱情的我，以及普遍陷入低迷的NPO界同道們，將如何脫困而出呢？期待姚先生辦的雜誌，也可以為NPO的朋友們注入一股清涼意。
